Operable Partitions Installation Steps:
1. Preparation：
- Prepare Materials: Steel Structure, Door Panels, Aluminum Track, Rollers, Z Steel Bracket, Screws etc.
- Prepare Installation Tools: Electric drill, welding machine, level machine, screwdriver, tape measure, wrench, etc.
- Measure the Space: Accurately measure the length, width, and height of the installation area
2. Start the Installation:
(1) Positioning and Marking
- Confirm the installation positions of the operable partitions on the floor, ceiling, and walls, ensuring the install position is correct.
- Use a level machine to mark the lines on the floor, walls and ceilings.
(2) Install Steel Structure and Aluminum Track
- Fixing the expansion screws to concrete slabs.
- Install and welding the steel structure according to the project drawing.
- Fixed the aluminum track on the steel structure by Z bracket and rod screws.
- Adjust the aluminum track height and level.
(3) Install the Partition Panels
- Take off the middle short track first so we can insert the panels into aluminum track.
- Insert the partition panels into the tracks, starting from one end and proceeding sequentially.
- Ensure the panels slide smoothly without any jamming.
- Install back the short track and then fixed.
(4) Adjustment and Fixing
- Adjust the panel positions to ensure they are vertical and level.
- Each partition panels have a screw on the roller rod, we need to fixed it after adjust finished.
3. Test the Operation and Cleanup
- Inspection: Test the sliding of the operable wall to ensure smooth operation and confirm there is no looseness or tilting.
- Cleanup: Clean the installation site and remove any excess materials and tools.
4. Precautions
- Safety First: Wear protective gear to avoid injuries.
- Accurate Measurement: Make sure the measurements and markings is correct to avoid installation errors.
- Secure Installation: Ensure the tracks and panels are firmly installed to prevent tipping or sliding issues.
- Soundproofing: If sound insulation is required, add sealing strips between the tracks and panels. And it’s better to install the soundproof barrier on the ceiling, the sound insulation will better.
